Rain or Shine!!
Page last updated Sunday, September 14, 2008
Saturday, August 23rd is when we
held our annual
Fly-in/Pig-out at
Fisher Field in Middleboro. The event included a display of
members' aircraft, a sumptuous feast and aviation related raffle, not
to mention a great opportunity to socialize with folks interested in
flying and building experimental aircraft. Thanks to Chapter member
Marty Himmelfarb and all the volunteers who made the Fly-in possible,
the event was a great success!!
John
Duffy and Larry Bean contributed pictures of the event, which you
can see here.
Alex
Paleologos contributed a video of the event. Click the "Play" button on
the video screen below to start playing the video. If you
don't
have a fast Internet connection to view the video live below, you can
download it to your computer (8.4MB WMV file) by right-clicking here and selecting
"Save Target As..." or "Save Link As...", then play it after it
finishes downloading. (I'm not sure if it will play on Apple computers,
can anyone verify that for me?)
